Job Title: Power Platform / D365 CE Solution Architect
Location: Remote (U.S. only) Preference for PST, MST, or CST candidates
Travel: ~10% (Quarterly client visits in Los Angeles or East Coast; limited for contractors)
Duration: 6+ months, with strong potential for extension or conversion
Compensation: $86/hour
Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Power Platform Solution Architect to support a growing portfolio of active and upcoming client projects. This role is responsible for designing and delivering scalable Power Platform solutions, with a strong emphasis on Power Automate, integrations, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) connectivity.
This is a high-priority position with immediate opportunities to contribute across multiple engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of Power Platform solutions across multiple client projects
- Own end-to-end solution architecture and contribute to hands-on implementation
- Design, build, and manage Power Automate workflows and integrations
- Collaborate with D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) developers and data engineering teams
- Architect and support integrations between Power Platform, D365 CE/F&O, and external systems
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Support active project delivery, post-go-live (hypercare), and ongoing enhancements
- Establish and promote best practices, governance, and solution standards
- Participate in client-facing workshops, discussions, and requirements gathering sessions
Required Qualifications- 515 years of experience in Power Platform and/or Microsoft Dynamics solution architecture
- Proven experience as a Power Platform Solution Architect
- Strong functional expertise (development experience not required)
- Deep expertise in:
- Power Automate (critical)
- Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps, integrations, Dataverse)
- Integration design across Power Platform and D365 CE/F&O
- 3+ years of recent functional experience with D365 Customer Engagement (CE), especially Field Service
- Experience designing end-to-end solutions in complex, multi-system environments
- Strong requirements gathering and solution design capabilities
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles
- Ability to balance architecture responsibilities with hands-on delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with D365 Finance & Operations (F&O)
- Familiarity with additional Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder, Dataverse)
- Exposure to AI technologies, including Copilot and Copilot Studio
- Techno-functional background (functional expertise with light technical capabilities)
