Power Supplies Mechanic

Job Summary:Inductotherm Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Power Supplies Mechanic to join our Team, onsite in Rancocas, New Jersey.

A Power Supplies Mechanic assembles small and large power supply units. The position requires experience installing mechanical and electrical components, plumbing, and the ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility for assigned staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assemble small and large power supply units according to specifications.
• Install mechanical and electrical components and plumbing assemblies.
• Read, interpret, and work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and be able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions.Ability to read measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, protractors, and formulas.Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of hardware sizes, plumbing fittings, and hand tools.Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED.Technical certifications or related training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Able to see, have good perception, and distinguish between colors.Able to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.Have good strength and be able to lift up to 51 lbs.Quick hand and arm movement, or the movement of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.Listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences.Communicate information and ideas, both written and verbally so others will understand.Have a valid driver's license and able to drive an automobile.Able to travel on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Salary:Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications.Salary Range: $20.58 - $28.16/hour

Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
