\nRole Description This is a specialized, hands-on engineering position focused on performing electrical power system studies and analysis.
\nWe are specifically looking for an engineer whose professional experience demonstrates that power system studies have been a meaningful and recurring part of their role. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience personally developing power system models, performing studies, analyzing and troubleshooting results, developing engineering recommendations, and preparing final technical deliverables.
\nThis position is intended for an engineer who can take ownership of assigned studies and actively perform the technical work.
\nQualifications
\nSoftware Experience:
\nThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using multiple industry-standard power system analysis programs, including:
\nCandidates do not necessarily need experience with every platform; however, they should demonstrate strong proficiency with power system analysis software and the ability to independently build models and perform studies.
\nWhat Lynk is Looking For:
\nThe right candidate for this position is a power systems studies specialist and a hands-on engineer.
\nWe are looking for someone who can get into the software, build and troubleshoot models, run the studies, interpret the results, identify issues, develop engineering recommendations, and prepare the final technical deliverables. Candidates should be able to point to specific projects where they personally performed power system studies—not simply projects where studies were part of the overall electrical scope or were performed by another engineer or consultant.
\nGeneral electrical design, industrial design, or substation experience alone does not meet what we are seeking for this position. Those backgrounds can be valuable, but the successful candidate's work history should demonstrate that electrical power system studies and analysis have been a meaningful and recurring part of their professional responsibilities.
\nWe are looking for someone who can own studies from beginning to end, including gathering and validating system information, developing the model, performing the analysis, troubleshooting results, identifying potential issues, developing recommendations, and producing the final deliverables.
\nThe successful candidate should be comfortable working directly in the applicable study software and taking responsibility for the technical quality and accuracy of their work.
\nWe are seeking someone who can contribute immediately while continuing to grow their technical expertise within Lynk Engineers.
