Position- PowerBI, Microsoft BI stack, Reports, Developer Duration-Contract Location- Connecticut State, CT JD • Experience band of 4-8 years in Power BI development• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders' needs• Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis• Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports• Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI• Keeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends
Requirements & Skills • Background with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP
• Prior experience in data-related tasks
• Understanding of the Microsoft BI Stack
• Mastery in data analytics
• Should be proficient in software development
• Be familiar with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies, such as SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX
• Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics
• Capable of enabling row-level data security
• Knowledge of Power BI application security layer models
