About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder/.NET Developer to provide application development, maintenance, administration, and production support. The developer will work with PowerBuilder-based applications as well as .NET applications and will be responsible for translating formal requirements into effective database and software solutions.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing priorities, communicate effectively with customers and team members, and follow established development standards, procedures, and coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex system administration, maintenance, and production support.
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation.
• Support applications developed using PowerBuilder and .NET technologies.
• Respond to system alerts and user events, investigate issues, make recommendations, and document findings.
• Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and implement applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for completed work.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills

• PowerBuilder / InfoMaker 4+ years
• ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms, or Blazor 5+ years
• Visual Studio 5+ years
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript 5+ years
• Web API maintenance using C#, Entity Framework, LINQ 1+ year
• Oracle / SQL Server 5+ years
• Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, and Office applications 5+ years
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as part of a team
• Highly motivated and self-directed

Desired Skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 3+ years
• Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server 3+ years
• Client-server application maintenance using C#/VB.NET, Entity Framework, and Oracle 3+ years

• Hybrid position with mandatory onsite work 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
