Big Red is hiring a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operator in Mobile, AL to support high-volume warehouse operations. If you excel at safe, precise material handling and enjoy working with a collaborative team, this position is for you.
Primary Responsibilities
Operate PIT equipment to move, stage, and stack product within designated storage locations.
Load and unload inbound/outbound freight from trucks and ocean containers.
Complete equipment inspections and escalate maintenance needs promptly.
Adhere to all safety requirements and company operating procedures.
Capture accurate inventory movements and transactions.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to meet delivery timelines and production goals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current forklift operator certification.
Demonstrated forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical work.
Effective communicator and dependable team contributor.
Basic computer skills for inventory tasks.
