Powertrain Calibration & Chassis Dynamometer Technician

We’re a global engineering consultancy partnering with the automotive and heavy‑duty/commercial engine industries. If pushing powertrain performance, fuel economy, and emissions forward sounds exciting, you’ll fit right in at our Vehicle Development Center.

What you’ll tackle

• Own test set‑ups and execution on an advanced chassis dynamometer for certification and development programs.
• Run vehicle‑level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing, and vehicle‑level engine calibration in a modern 4WD emissions chassis dyno.
• Keep the cell humming with preventive maintenance and equipment care.
• Follow and improve quality assurance procedures to ensure high‑integrity data.

When you’ll work

2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) availability is required.

What you bring

• Associate’s Degree, Trade School, or Technical School education.
• PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Mechanical or Electrical hands‑on experience.
• Chassis dynamometer experience is a must.
• Drive to succeed, strong organization, teamwork, and clear communication.

Nice to have

• Fabrication skills.
• Emissions or combustion know‑how.
• Engine testing background.
• Experience with Horiba testing equipment.

Pay

$26.67 – $35.33 per hour (DOE)
