    Job Description

    • Description:The "Quality-&-Process Engineer" of the Emissions-&-FE-Testing Department is responsible for, but not limited to: Procedure documentation, assessments for efficiency (process capability, cycle-time, downtime data with impact categorization, and FTC monitoring); DFSS/DMAIC project execution; and implementation of lean process methodologies, continuous quality-improvement strategies, and autonomous mitigation/prevention of test issues aimed at both quality improvements and cost reductions.
    • Requirements:

      Travel and Driving Notes:

      May be required to drive a company car. A valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record. May be required to travel domestically up to 20%

      Requirements:

      Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

      NO ENTRY LEVEL! 

      Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in defining and/or applying process improvement techniques for Key Performance Indicators [Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale].

      Experience with full process quality deployment and optimization in a high-paced production or test environment.

      Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 

      Experience with engineering standard measurement techniques and tools (MS Office Suite, Minitab, SPC, distributions, etc.)

      Proficiency with: DFSS/DMAIC/Six-Sigma and root-cause analysis tools (PFMEA, 8D. 5S. Kaizen. Gage R&R. ANOVA. ISO-12207.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university.

      Experience in project management including MS Project.
