We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.**Job Summary**MOR PPM Inc. is interested in hiring a forklift operator in Aiken, SC. The Forklift/Loader Operator is responsible for the proper care and operation of equipment such as forklifts and loaders and for maintaining a safe working environment.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**+ Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards and customer contracts+ Operates company equipment safely+ Assists with the maintenance of company equipment and vehicles+ Records vehicle information accurately and legibly+ Maintains a positive and professional demeanor+ Follows yard guidelines to maintain a safe working environment (i.e. speed limits, etc.)+ Must be able to load and unload vehicles as required+ Must be able to pass training and safety requirements+ Performs other duties as assigned.**Qualifications**+ Excellent customer service attitude and skills+ Proficient written and verbal communication skills+ Ability to operate basic equipment+ Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment+ Strong attention to detail+ HS diploma or GED preferred**Required Experience**+ At least two years of work experience+ One year of loader or forklift experience, certification preferred**Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:**+ Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign+ May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds+ Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above+ Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas+ Must have full range of motion consistent with age+ Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders+ Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises+ Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces+ Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.**Equal Opportunity Employer**As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
