PPV & Cost Analytics Procurement Lead — Detroit, Michigan Area

Role focus

Scope and impact

• Accountable for enterprise-wide PPV performance, root-cause resolution, and prevention.
• Drive supplier cost-reduction roadmaps and rebate structures tied to performance.
• Ensure accuracy through PO-to-invoice reconciliation and alignment with standard costs.
• Produce monthly cost and margin analyses with consistent, auditable reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, purchasing, cost analysis, or manufacturing finance.
• Demonstrated experience with PPV management, standard costing, rebates, and variance analysis.
• Direct interaction with strategic suppliers and cross-functional collaboration with Finance.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, modeling, data analysis); strong analytical and financial skills.
• Ability to interpret invoice details, resolve discrepancies, and communicate findings clearly.
• Detail orientation, structured problem-solving, and disciplined reporting habits.
• Driven by results and margin improvement.

Preferred background

• Multi-site manufacturing exposure.
• Experience building and managing rebate programs.
• ERP familiarity (SAP, Oracle, Plex, IQMS, etc.).
• Understanding of plastic injection molding.

Work environment

• Blend of office and manufacturing plant settings.
• Occasional travel to plants and supplier facilities.
