Job Title: Public Relations Account SupervisorDepartment: Public RelationsReports To: Associate PR DirectorLocation: Phoenix, AZEmployment Type: Full-Time | ExemptJob SummaryThe Public Relations Supervisor leads day-to-day client relationships and oversees the development and execution of public relations campaigns across multiple clients and industries. This role is responsible for driving media strategy, managing press outreach, and ensuring the successful execution of earned media initiatives aligned with client objectives.The Public Relations Supervisor collaborates closely with internal teams, including account service, creative, social, and digital, to integrate PR efforts into broader marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate brings strong media relationships, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary day-to-day client contact for PR-focused accounts and initiativesDevelop and execute media relations strategies, including press outreach and storytellingManage project timelines, deliverables, and overall PR campaign executionDraft and oversee the development of press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and briefing documentsParticipate in client reporting through KPI identification, program insights and recommendations, and development of reporting materialsBuild and maintain relationships with media, journalists, and industry influencersParticipate in client meetings and present PR strategies, updates, and resultsProvide account-related oversight to junior team members, offering feedback and guidance for growthContribute to new business opportunities through proposal research, content development, and participation in presentationsSkills & QualificationsStrong writing and editing skills, particularly for press materialsExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneouslyEstablished relationships with media and journalists preferredUnderstanding of integrated marketing and communications strategiesEducation and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field5–8 years of public relations experience in an agency or in-house environmentProven experience managing media relations and executing PR campaignsHere are just a few reasons you'll love LAVIDGEWhen you join our team, you can expect solid work-life balance and fulfilling career potential in one of Phoenix's most recognized and well-respected agencies.
