\nPlatinum Plastic Surgery is a growing, physician-owned aesthetic healthcare organization in Las Vegas consisting of a premier plastic surgery practice, ambulatory surgery center, and luxury medical spa, all located within the same facility.
\nWe are seeking an ambitious, highly capable Practice Administrator to join our leadership team and help take the organization to its next stage of growth.
\nThis is not a traditional office manager position.
\nWe are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to improve an existing organization, build systems, develop people, increase profitability, and help create a scalable business.
\nThe successful candidate will initially serve as Practice Administrator, with a clearly defined opportunity to grow into a Director of Operations role as the organization expands and the candidate demonstrates increasing leadership and operational responsibility.
\nTHE OPPORTUNITY
\nThe primary mission of this position is to help grow and evolve the organization.
\nYou will work directly with the physician owner and leadership team to improve the performance of the plastic surgery practice, medspa, and supporting surgical operations.
\nYour responsibilities will span:
\nThe ideal candidate will be someone who sees problems and opportunities before being asked to address them.
\nYou should be comfortable asking: "How can we do this better?" and then building and implementing the solution.
\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n1. PRACTICE GROWTH & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
\nThe primary focus of this position is helping grow the organization.
\nWork closely with ownership to:
\nThe successful candidate will think beyond simply maintaining current operations and will actively contribute to building a larger, more successful organization.
\n2. PLASTIC SURGERY PRACTICE OPERATIONS
\n3. MEDSPA OPERATIONS & GROWTH
\nWork closely with the medspa leadership team to improve both operational performance and growth.
\nResponsibilities include:
\n4. AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER
\nASC experience is strongly preferred because the organization includes an ambulatory surgery center.
\nThe Practice Administrator will work with ASC leadership to help ensure efficient coordination between the surgical practice and facility.
\nResponsibilities may include:
\nCandidates with previous experience managing or working within an ASC will have a significant advantage.
\n5. TEAM LEADERSHIP & HUMAN RESOURCES
\nWe are looking for someone who can lead people, not simply manage schedules.
\nResponsibilities include:
\nAs the organization grows, this position will increasingly focus on developing managers and leaders rather than personally managing every employee.
\n6. FINANCIAL & OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
\nThe Practice Administrator will develop a strong understanding of the financial performance of each business.
\nResponsibilities include:
\nYou don't need to be an accountant.
\nYou do need to be comfortable looking at a P&L and asking:
\n"Why did this number change, and what should we do about it?"
\n7. VENDOR NEGOTIATIONS & PURCHASING
\nTake ownership of vendor relationships and identify opportunities to improve pricing and service.
\nResponsibilities include:
\nSuccessful candidates should enjoy negotiating and finding ways to improve the economics of the organization.
\n8. KPI & PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
\nDevelop and maintain a simple, actionable organizational scorecard.
\nMetrics may include:

\nOrganization
\nThe goal is not simply to produce reports.
\nYou will be expected to identify trends, find problems, develop solutions, and drive measurable improvement.

\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
\n· Experience managing a surgical practice with an in-office surgery suite strongly preferred (optimal)
\n· Cosmetic or plastic surgery practice management experience preferred (not required)
\n· Proven managerial experience executing payroll and accounts payable
\n· Proven experience developing or overseeing marketing plans and demonstrating results
\n· Strong organizational and communication skills
\nSTRONGLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
\nExperience in one or more of the following environments:
\nParticularly valuable:
\nDirect plastic surgery experience is not required.
\nADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
\n· Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with surgeons, hospital personnel, payors, and employer groups at multiple levels
\n· Strong organizational leadership ability; capable of coordinating the interests of surgeons toward the larger objective
\n· Ability to perform well in stressful situations
\n· Neat, professional appearance
\n· Articulate, both verbally and in writing
