Northwest Orthopaedic Specialists (NWOS) is seeking a Practice Coordinator to join our Valley Office team. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrative support for a physician and/or physician assistant, helping ensure efficient daily clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include coordinating and scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance authorizations, and providing outstanding service to patients throughout their care experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Answers patient calls and provides excellent customer service
Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, insurances, and providers
Coordinates appointments with staff and provider's schedules
Verifies insurance eligibility, authorization and on occasion, benefits.
Manages incoming new patient referrals by scheduling patients and ensures all insurance referrals are in place prior to appointment.
Completes patient registration at the time of scheduling meeting all MIP requirements.
Completes non-surgical documents such as workers compensation and disability forms, processes/routes all provider mail in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous Medical Office experience preferred, but not required
Graduated from an accredited medical office program preferred, but not required
SHIFT:
Monday through Friday, normal office hours.
