Job Summary
Responsible for the management of up to three providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or Associates Degree and 4 years experience in an office practice environment at a supervisory level (Required)
Work Experience
- 2+ years working in a medical practice environment with at least one year experience at a supervisory level (Required)
- 1+ years of insurance and reimbursement, CPT codes, ICD codes, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance procedures (Preferred)
- 1+ year of supervisory experience in a medical practice (Required)

Essential Functions
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff and physicians.
- Hold staff members accountable for communicating professionally.
- Act as a resource person within the department regarding communication skills.
- Ensure the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient.
- Primary contact and resource for providers in the practice.
- Review and maintain schedules for productivity and maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Reporting, interpreting and responding to practice metrics to improve office performance.
- Accounts receivables including patient pay and insurance.
- Human Resources including hiring, training, performance management, and dismissal.
- Responsible for team member satisfaction and retention through practices that promote communication, rewards & recognition, teamwork, and effective employee relations practices.
- Ensures training and development of staff by identifying training needs and establishing initiatives to meet company/individual objectives.
- Responsible for the operational readiness, appearance, and presentation of the office.
Additional Duties
- Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
- Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization.
- Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs).
- Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
- Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
- For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age-specific customer service skills.
- Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
