LHH is partnering with one of the nation's fastest-growing engineering consulting firms in search of a Wastewater Practice Leader to help expand and strengthen the firm's Water/Wastewater practice throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to build client relationships, win new work, mentor engineering talent, and help shape the future growth of the practice across Portland and the surrounding region.
Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $220,000+, depending on experience, with substantial performance-based bonus opportunities and an industry-leading retirement program and benefits .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the growth and development of the Water/Wastewater practice throughout the Portland market and broader Pacific Northwest region.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal water and wastewater agencies, utilities, public works departments, and regional stakeholders.
Win new business opportunities and serve as a trusted advisor to existing clients.
Manage wastewater and water infrastructure projects while ensuring exceptional technical delivery and client satisfaction.
Mentor and develop engineering staff, helping team members grow into larger project and client-facing responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Approximately 15+ years of experience within water and/or wastewater engineering consulting.
Proven track record managing municipal water, wastewater, treatment, pumping, conveyance, collection, or utility infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and independently win project work.
Experience leading and mentoring teams of engineers and project professionals.
Strong project management, business development, and client-management skills.

Experience leading teams of roughly 6-10 professionals.
