Here at North Yorkshire Council, we are extremely proud of the work our Children's Services do, this has been recognised by Ofsted in our 2023 review, rating us as Outstanding across all areas.

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-motivated Practice Supervisor to join the FAST team in the Hambleton area. You will be working in a team that is constantly trying to improve outcomes for safeguarding children and supporting their families.

About us

North Yorkshire Council Children's Services is an Outstanding Ofsted-rated service, dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for children, young people and families. Together, we are making a positive difference to the lives of children and families across North Yorkshire every day.

If you have a genuine passion for working with young people and helping them build brighter futures and are committed to delivering a high standard of practice and promoting social work development, we would love to hear from you.

It is an exciting time in Children and Young Peoples Services in North Yorkshire as we plan our approach in respect of the Families First Partnership Programme and how we will be responding to the social care reforms. Work is underway to plan our approach and implementations for 2027. As a result of this, some realignment may happen with job roles in the future, we want to be transparent about this in respect of this role.
