GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Natrona County District Attorneys Office in Casper, Wyoming, is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Assistant District Attorney to join its prosecution team. This position plays a critical role in protecting public safety and upholding justice by prosecuting felony-level criminal offenses throughout Natrona County.
As an Assistant District Attorney, you will manage felony case prosecutions from initial review through trial and sentencing. Responsibilities include preparing and filing legal pleadings, arguing motions before the court, conducting jury and bench trials, collaborating with law enforcement and investigative agencies, and coordinating complex criminal investigations. This position also provides guidance and direction to assigned legal support staff to ensure the effective management of cases.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about public service, courtroom advocacy, and making a meaningful impact within the community. Successful candidates will possess strong analytical, communication, and litigation skills, along with the initiative and professionalism necessary to handle a demanding felony caseload.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Wyoming, be in good standing with the Wyoming State Bar, and demonstrate a high level of initiative, responsibility, and commitment to the pursuit of justice.
