Job Description:
The Pre-Analytical Assistant (Lab Assistant) is responsible for handling and processing a variety of biological samples, including blood, urine, stool, plasma, and other bodily fluids. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive, sort, and label specimens accurately.
- Perform centrifugation and aliquoting of samples as required.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of specimens.
- Enter patient and specimen data accurately into the system.
- Maintain specimen integrity by following proper handling procedures.
- Adhere to all safety, compliance, and quality standards in a biohazard environment.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.
Qualifications:- Experience handling biological samples in a laboratory or clinical setting.
- Strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of specimen handling, labeling, and processing procedures
