LaForce is looking for a Pre-Installer to assist other installers in the installation of door hardware, commercial doors, frames, and electrical hardware both onsite and in house.
Pay: $22-24/hr based on experience
Major Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of work orders which may involve any or all of the following:
- Adjustment or replacement of existing material
- Installation of new material
- Disassembly and removal of material
- Pre-Installation of new material on wood or metal doors
- Operate various power and hand tools, including a welder
- Submit accurate and detailed daily logsheets
- Must be able to accommodate flexible work hours. Occasional travel may be required with the position
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to read and understand specifications, wiring diagrams and blueprints is required
- Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
- Knowledge of reading and using measuring tapes and rulers.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
