About the Role:
Funtastic Childcare Center is now hiring a full-time assistant for our Pre-K classroom. We are looking for a dependable person with a positive outlook who has strong classroom management skills. Our Pre-K children are eager to play and learn with the guidance of an interactive leader who will work well with their teacher. Dependability, commitment, patience, cooperation, and a passion for working with and helping children are important qualities to possess for this position. Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans.
  • Supervise and engage with children during activities and playtime.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom and center environment.
  • Communicate with parents about children's progress and daily activities.
  • Help organize and participate in special events and field trips.
  • Monitor and document children's behavior and learning milestones.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development.
  • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Background check clearance required.
