Duties

Description: Full-time Preschool for All Teacher for Highland Primary School PFA Program.

Job Summary: Applicants must be willing to:

• Individualize lessons, plan lessons, and deliver instruction to students with a variety of academic and behavioral needs.
• Collect, organize, and use data to drive decision-making for academics.
• Attend Special Education Department meetings and other training that relate to improvement of IEPs, decision-making, skills instruction, and delivery.
• Manage, supervise, and work collaboratively with paraprofessionals (program assistants and individual care aides).
• Learn and use on-line IEP program software and other technology, including Excel.
• Write IEPs according to state and district guidelines.
• Hold IEP meetings, including Annual Reviews and IEP Reviews.
• Work collaboratively with administration and related service staff in order to promote a positive school environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must meet requirements for Early Childhood Special Education Endorsed Teacher.

Based on HEA contract.
