Pre-K Teacher (2 Positions)

The Oceanport Board of Education is seeking two (2) Pre-K Teachers effective 9/1/2026.

Required Certification:

• Preschool through Grade 3 certification (P3) or Certificate of Eligibility (CE) required
• Special Education certification preferred

Successful Candidates Must Possess the Following:

• Appropriate New Jersey teaching certification
• Ability to engage, motivate, and support early learners
• Knowledge of early childhood education philosophy and best practices
• Strong classroom management skills
• Understanding of Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A positive, enthusiastic demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and families
• Experience with HighScope curriculum and instructional practices (preferred)

Salary Range:

$61,985 $65,535

Benefits:

This position includes eligibility for health insurance, paid sick and personal days, and enrollment in the Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund. This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.
