EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Some college or technical training required. Additional education recognized. Three 3 year related experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge of child development positive behavior management techniques and developmentally appropriate early childhood practices. Basic computer and effective communication skills. Pre - employment physical examination required. Must meet physical requi rements of the job including being able to bend stoop and stand for long periods sit on the floor and sit in child sized chairs. Must be able to liftcarrypushpull minimum of 50 lbs .

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES Responsible for assisting the teacher in developing and implementing learning experiences that promote the social emotional and physical development of each child within a safe and healthy environment .
