Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment for all students.
• Assess and monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth through interactive activities.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom experiences.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning and exploration.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Birth to Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Ability to use the computer, Word, Create Newletters, write short parent communication letters, create flyers, and adjust positively. 
• Valid teaching license or certification for Pre-Kindergarten education preferred
• Willing to go back to school if needed.  Complete ongoing training.
• Three or more years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
• Passion for early childhood education and child development.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the children and the classroom environment.
• Background check clearance and CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
