Associate Attorney (Pre‑Litigation)

Overview

The Judge Group is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to manage a pre‑litigation caseload in a structured and supportive environment. This role is well suited for attorneys who enjoy client interaction, case strategy, and negotiation, and who are seeking mentorship and professional growth. Attorneys who have newly passed the bar are encouraged to apply.

Location 

Providence or Southeast Massachusetts

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from initial client consultation through pre‑litigation resolution
• Conduct thorough factual investigations, including record review and damages analysis
• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing parties, and other stakeholders
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for favorable outcomes
• Maintain accurate case files and meet defined performance metrics (KPIs)
• Collaborate with team members while independently managing assigned matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in Massachusetts or Rhode Island, or newly passed bar candidates pending admission
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a high‑volume caseload in a deadline‑driven environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Caseload Expectations

• Approximately 75–100 cases during the first three months
• Average caseload of 100–130 matters for senior‑level attorneys
