Cheshire Surgery Center is seeking to fill a full-time Pre-Op/PACU Register Nurse to join our team. This will be a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Our state-of-the art surgery center providing comprehensive orthopedic care for a range of ambulatory services, including hand, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle, spine, and joint surgery, as well as pain management procedures. The Surgery center boasts four operating rooms, eight preoperative bays, ten postoperative bays, and private exam rooms for consultation and features cutting-edge equipment with state-of-the-art technology. Position Summary: The PACU/Pr-eOp RN provides expert professional nursing care for the patient during the admission process and recovery phase. This position is responsible for direct nursing care of patients in the pre op and post anesthesia care unit. The PACU Registered Nurse is knowledgeable in all areas of perioperative nursing. The RN demonstrates a leadership role with continued competence in assessment, treatment and caring for patients.
