At Advanced Gynecology, you'll be part of a highly skilled team dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered gynecologic care. As a PRN Pre-Op/PACU RN, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every patient feels safe, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive through recovery and discharge.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
Pre-Operative Care
- Perform comprehensive pre-operative nursing assessments, including medical history review, medication reconciliation, and vital signs.
- Ensure informed consents, documentation, and pre-op checklists are complete.
- Start IVs and administer pre-operative medications as ordered.
- Educate patients and families on the surgical process and answer questions with compassion and confidence.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
Post-Anesthesia Care (PACU)
- Provide expert nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor airway, breathing, circulation, neurological status, pain, and surgical sites.
- Administer post-operative medications, including pain management and antiemetics.
- Recognize and respond quickly to post-anesthesia complications.
- Prepare patients and families for discharge by providing thorough education and recovery instructions.
Qualifications:
What You Bring
- Current, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PACU, Pre-Op, Critical Care, Emergency Department, or a similar acute care setting
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and a patient-first mindset
