      AG&E Associates is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Precast Project Engineer to join our team.

      This role offers the opportunity to lead precast-focused projects while supporting technical delivery, team coordination, and client relationships within a leading engineering firm.

      What You Will Do

      • Lead and coordinate teams of engineers, BIM modelers, and project coordinators across all project phases
      • Serve as a technical liaison between design teams, precast manufacturers, EOR teams, and general contractors
      • Develop and manage project schedules, task lists, and documentation processes while ensuring quality control
      • Design precast components and connections, including handling and erection procedures
      • Review calculations, erection plans, shop tickets, and sealed drawings as required
      • Manage construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site or plant visits
      • Oversee project financials, including budgets, profitability, invoicing, and change orders
      • Contribute to proposals, training initiatives, and development of technical standards
      • Participate in client meetings, coordination sessions, and industry engagement

      What You Bring

      • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis required
      • Must hold an active Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by state of residence
      • Minimum 4 years of experience in precast and prestressed buildings
      • Experience with total precast systems including double tees, spandrels, walls, columns, and connections
      • Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, Tekla, 3D modelling software, and structural engineering software such as Mathcad or Tedds
      • Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards
      • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams
      • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
      • Problem-solving mindset with attention to quality and detail
