Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) is looking for a Full-Time Electronics Technician to support our customers at the U.S. Naval Observatory, Washington, D.C..
Background
The U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO) is responsible for the creation, dissemination and maintenance of precise time and navigation products for the Department of Defense and other customers. CPI is seeking an Electronics Technician to provide installation, maintenance and troubleshooting support of electronic systems at USNO. The successful candidate will assist engineering staff in the installation and testing of RF electronics and optical fiber systems for time dissemination. The Technician will also perform maintenance on the timing systems and HVAC for environmental control.
Most work for this position will be completed on-site at USNO in Washington, D.C.; travel within and outside of the continental United States will be required based on the needs of the customer. An active SECRET security clearance is required for this position, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI clearance upon hiring.
