What your shift could look like
On first shift, you arrive as the floor comes alive at 6:00 am. You review blueprints, stage components, and assemble hydraulic cylinders and valves with care, closing out by 4:30 pm after final inspections and packaging. Prefer nights? On third shift, you clock in at 7:30 pm as production hands off the day’s targets. You keep momentum through the quiet hours, testing builds and documenting results before wrapping at 6:00 am.
Compensation & schedule
- Pay: $19.50 per hour
- Core schedule (Monday–Thursday): 6:00 am–4:30 pm (first shift) or 7:30 pm–6:00 am (third shift)
- Training: Ability to train on first shift for 2–4 weeks if needed
- Long-term hire potential
What you’ll do
- Interpret and follow mechanical blueprints to assemble company products
- Build and test valves, hydraulic cylinders, and related fluid power components
- Inspect finished work and package parts, including valves and cylinders, to quality standards
- Maintain pace in a fast-moving manufacturing, warehouse-like setting
- Switch between multiple tasks and projects while meeting daily/weekly production goals
- Collaborate with teammates and leadership; work independently with limited supervision as needed
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Blueprint reading proficiency (required)
- Ability to assemble and test valves, hydraulic cylinders, or other company products (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication (required)
- Ability to safely lift up to 55 lbs (required)
- Six months of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience inspecting and packaging valves and hydraulic cylinders (preferred)
