Precision Cleaner / Surface Preparation – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Precision Cleaner to join our production team in Huntington Beach. This position is responsible for preparing and cleaning critical plumbing components through hands-on wiping, brushing, polishing, and other surface preparation processes.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in quality work, has strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Physically clean and prepare plumbing components through wiping, brushing, and polishing.

• Ensure products are properly cleaned and meet established quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.

• Handle cleaning products and materials safely and according to established procedures.

• Follow detailed work instructions and production procedures.

• Complete required production records and document daily activities.

• Inspect products for cleanliness, surface imperfections, or other issues.

• Report quality concerns or production issues to the Team Leader or Shift Leader.

• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.

• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with team members and the Production Department.

• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.

• Assist with other production and support tasks as directed by the Shift Leader.

• Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous experience in cleaning, polishing, manufacturing, production, assembly, or a similar hands-on environment is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and their proper handling and application.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify surface imperfections.

• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.

• Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation.

• Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal direct supervision.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and solve routine problems.

• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, including 8+ hours per shift.

• Ability to walk and work on your feet throughout the shift.

• Frequent reaching above and below shoulder level.

• Frequent use of both hands for fine manipulation, grasping, squeezing, wiping, brushing, and polishing.

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, twist, crawl, climb, and balance as needed.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. when necessary.

Work Environment & Safety

• Indoor manufacturing environment.

• Possible exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise.

• May work with cleaning products and other materials used during surface preparation.

• Must follow proper lifting techniques and all company safety procedures.

• Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
