Your day at Trace-A-Matic
You step into a climate-controlled, spotless cleanroom, review the build plan and parts list, and gather the tools you’ll need—sockets, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and more. You bring a CNC production cell online, confirm robotics are ready to run, and monitor the cell software to keep uptime high. Between cycles, you load and unload parts per defined procedures, run dimensional checks with micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges, and confirm results on an automated CMM. Before assembly, you route parts through a semi-automated ultrasonic cleaning system to ensure everything meets spec. Throughout the shift, you log quantities and time, read and follow work instructions and blueprints, assemble components to exact fit, and keep the workspace safe and spotless.
