About the role

PDS Tech Commercial has partnered with a premier aerospace manufacturer to add experienced cleanroom assemblers to the team. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with intent to convert to permanent employment.

• Location: Redmond, WA 98052 (near 148th Ave NE & NE 40th St, by Microsoft)
• Hire type: Full-Time Contract-To-Hire (intent to convert)
• Start date: As soon as onboarding is cleared

Training

Training and orientation are held on day shift (Monday–Friday) during your first week. Beginning week two, you’ll transition to your assigned shift.

Shifts & pay

• A Shift (4x10 Days): Mon–Thu, 5am–4pm — $25.32/hr
• B Shift (4x10 Nights): Mon–Thu, 3pm–2am — $27.32/hr
• C Shift (3x12 Days): Fri–Sun, 6am–7pm — $28.19/hr
• D Shift (3x12 Nights): Fri–Sun, 6pm–7am — $28.19/hr

Attendance bonus

$3,000 total potential:

• $1,000 after 30 business days (perfect attendance required to receive the full amount)
• $1,000 after 60 business days (perfect attendance not required)
• $1,000 after 90 business days (perfect attendance not required)

What you will build and how

• Operate assigned production equipment and perform changeovers
• Assemble and test components per engineering drawings and documented work instructions
• Set up, monitor, and maintain equipment for throughput and quality
• Inspect work product to stringent aerospace quality standards
• Accurately record, analyze, and report production data
• Keep your cell and area clean, organized, and safe
• Participate in continuous improvement for safety, quality, and productivity
• Support the Honeywell Operating System
• Follow all safety rules and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year hands-on assembly or manufacturing (electrical, mechanical, or medical preferred)
• Language: English fluency in speaking, reading, and writing
• Work eligibility: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected status under asylum or refugee status; bring a physical birth certificate or an unexpired passport/pass card for onboarding

Cleanroom environment

• Full PPE required: full body suit, face mask, eye shields, gloves, anti-static bracelet
• Extended work under microscopes (both sitting and standing)
• Air-conditioned facility

Preferred

• Skilled with precision hand tools
• Ability to read travelers/blueprints
• Troubleshooting capability
• Strong independent work habits and team collaboration
• Clear written and verbal communication

Domain exposure and tools

• PCB Assembly (Printed Circuit Board Assembly); Mechanical Assembly; Aerospace Manufacturing
• Calipers and Micrometers
