Precision CNC Lathe Technician (Multi‑Axis)

About the role

Join a climate-controlled job shop where quality parts and reliable schedules go hand-in-hand. This full-time, first-shift position blends CNC programming (via CAM), setup, and production support on 2–4 axis turning centers.

You will

• Create and refine CAM programs for CNC lathes; guide operators through efficient setups and safe operation.
• Verify part conformance with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Translate drawings/specifications and sample parts into a clear sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Model dependable, team-first behavior and maintain professional communication and appearance.
• Follow written and verbal machining procedures and deliver tasks on time.
• Handle other related duties as assigned.

You are

• Fluent in CNC programming using CAM software and experienced in setup and operation (required).
• Organized, dependable, and mechanically inclined.
• Familiar with manual or other manufacturing equipment (nice to have).

Preferred background

• Hands-on experience with multi-axis CNC lathes.
• Comfort with CAD/CAM environments.
• Track record producing custom or tight-tolerance parts.

Physical requirements

• Stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
• Occasional bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Use required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear protection) as needed.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM; occasional overtime as production dictates.
