Xactra Technologies is looking for CNC Turning and Milling Setup/Operators to add to our 1st and 2nd shift staff. Job Requirements
- Set up/Operate Multi-Axis Mill Turns and/or Vertical/Horizontal Milling machines.
- Load fixture in the machine with blank parts to be machined or a machined part for one (1) of the part-specific operations, which would be noted on the job router.
- Utilize measuring devices to accurately measure part characteristics.
- Seek supervisory help if the machine fails or measurements get outside limits.
- Document on router production, quality and scrap counts daily.
- Check to make sure coolant or oil levels are at proper function levels.
Skills & Experience
- CNC Machining experience in turning or milling.
- Optical Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read GD&T Code.
- Ability to use all measuring tools.
- Materials experience: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Brass, and Plastics.
