Join our small job shop as a Precision CNC Mill Programmer-Operator and take ownership of high-mix, low-volume work across multiple industries. You’ll run Haas VF-4 and VF-11 vertical machining centers, transform drawings into flawless parts, and keep production moving with craftsmanship and care.

Your day-to-day

  • Operate and set up Haas VF-4 and VF-11 CNC mills to manufacture parts to print.
  • Load programs, select tooling, set work/tool offsets, and validate first-article quality.
  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to plan machining operations.
  • Monitor cycles; fine-tune feeds, speeds, and tool comp to maintain tight tolerances.
  • Perform routine machine upkeep to sustain peak performance and reliability.
  • Inspect finished work using precision gauges to confirm all specifications are met.
  • Collaborate with teammates to streamline setups, increase throughput, and reduce scrap.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe workstation and follow all shop safety practices.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
  • Comfort working in a small job shop: short runs, varied materials, multiple industries.
  • Fluency reading and understanding prints, technical docs, and CAD visuals.
  • Solid command of CNC machining and programming fundamentals (including G-code).
  • Experience with a range of CNC machines, workholding, and cutting tools.
  • Sharp attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and a safety-first mindset.
