A day in this role

• Prepare and dial-in CNC vertical mills, building fixtures and selecting tooling to meet job specs.
• Translate engineering drawings and schematics into efficient machining steps; verify dimensions before first cut.
• Run parts with vigilant in-process checks, adjusting offsets and feeds/speeds to hold quality.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to keep spindles turning.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep your area spotless and production-ready.
• Share ideas to tighten cycle times, improve surface finish, and enhance repeatability.
• Accurately record production results, setups, and any deviation or corrective actions.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining coursework or certification preferred.
• Hands-on success as a CNC machinist (milling focus) or closely related role.
• Fluency interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical documentation.
• Working knowledge of CNC programming concepts and control operation.
• Self-starter who collaborates well across shifts and disciplines.
• Sharp attention to detail and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Commitment to safety practices and rigorous quality standards.
