Employment: Full-Time | Night Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:15 PM – 1:15 AM
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour
A day in the life
From the moment your night shift begins, you’re setting up CNC milling centers, verifying programs and tooling, and dialing in tight tolerances. You move confidently from blueprint to machine, translating GD&T into real parts that pass inspection the first time. Throughout the shift, you keep the cell organized, collaborate with teammates, and record production and quality data with care. You wrap up by cleaning your area, communicating priorities, and offering ideas to improve the next run.
What you’ll handle
- Operate CNC milling machines safely and consistently to produce precision components
- Interpret blueprints, travelers, and technical instructions to plan each job
- Load raw material and unload finished parts efficiently and accurately
- Perform basic setups and clearly communicate tooling needs
- Measure, inspect, and document parts and production data to meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, orderly workstation and complete all required documentation
- Collaborate with the team and contribute to continuous improvement
What you bring
- 5+ years of CNC mill operation and setup experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate knowledge of machine functions, tolerances, and GD&T
- Strong mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for basic tracking and documentation
- Clear communicator with strong teamwork and problem‑solving abilities
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Technical proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, CNC tooling, and CNC programming
Physical requirements
- Stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort working around occasional fumes, odors, and dust
