    About the Role

Picture your shift in Livermore, CA: you arrive, review the day’s work orders, and choose the exact fixtures, attachments, and tools needed to hit tight tolerances. You set up and run parts across our Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, CNC Lathes, and Mill-Turn Lathes—adapting your approach to each machine so every component leaves the floor accurate and consistent.

We have immediate openings on 1st and 2nd shift. Pay is determined by your experience, proficiency across different machine platforms, and the complexity of the setups you can handle. While we are not hiring for programming roles at this time, prior exposure to programming and interpreting CNC software is a plus.

    What your day looks like
    • Study specifications, then select and mount fixtures, attachments, and cutting tools before the first cut.
    • Partner with engineers and supervisors to align on project details; collaborate on design adjustments when the current plan isn’t feasible.
    • Tune machine parameters—speed, feeds, tooling, and cutting strategy—to achieve precision and finish requirements.
    • Oversee each cut, making real-time adjustments to catch issues early and prevent scrap.
    • Monitor spindle and coolant temperatures; allow proper warm-up and cool-down cycles; replace coolant at required intervals.
    • Review and interpret cutting plans; load and edit at the control as needed to correct errors prior to or during production.
    • Inspect parts for accuracy and uniformity to uphold quality standards and our reputation.
    • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance—lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement—to keep machines performing.
    Where you’ll make an impact

You’ll rotate between Horizontal and Vertical Mills, CNC Lathes, and Mill-Turn Lathes, choosing the right strategy for each job and ensuring consistent results throughout your shift.

    What you bring
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 2+ years operating CNC machinery.
    • Hands-on comfort with tooling and routine machine care.
    • Familiarity with CNC programming concepts and software interpretation.
    Preferred strengths
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset.
    • Commitment to precision and enforcing quality standards.
    • Ability to read and understand G-code.
