Step Into a Precision Leadership Role
Own the pace, quality, and safety of a modern CNC operation. As the Precision CNC Operations Lead, you will orchestrate people, programs, and processes across Haas machining centers, vertical mills, lathes, and saws to meet demanding schedules without sacrificing excellence.
Your Impact
- Command daily production across CNC mills (vertical preferred), Haas platforms, machining centers, lathes, and saws
- Plan staffing, dispatch work, and balance loads to meet schedule commitments
- Develop operators through training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Authorize setups, verify tooling changes, approve first‑piece inspections, and document results
- Resolve machining issues at the source; drive corrective and preventive actions
- Interpret blueprints/CAD-CAM files/job travelers; validate tolerances using metrology tools
- Enforce safety, housekeeping, and lockout/tagout standards
- Coordinate preventive maintenance; escalate major equipment concerns
- Track OEE, scrap, and throughput; lead 5S and Kaizen activities
- Oversee tooling, inserts, fixtures, and consumables; initiate procurement when required
- Maintain up-to-date setup documentation, tool offsets, program revisions, and machine logs
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of CNC experience on vertical mills, Haas machines, lathes, and saws
- 1–2+ years as a supervisor or lead in CNC/manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T; proficiency with calipers and micrometers (CMM exposure a plus)
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM and G‑code fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving mindset for machining and tooling challenges
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Range: 100k/year
- Shift: 1st
- Hours: 5am–1:30pm
