Own Your Day on the Shop Floor

At our Alsip, IL facility, you’ll arrive for your shift, review prints, confirm setups, and keep precision parts moving through CNC mills and lathes. You’ll run to spec, hold tight tolerances, and keep safety and cleanliness at the forefront—all while contributing to continuous improvement in a lean environment.

What your day looks like

  • Start with standard work: machine setup, part runs, and preventive maintenance (PM).
  • Inspect and deburr parts, then prepare for what’s next—select and preset tools for the upcoming job.
  • Update visual controls, suggest and support countermeasures, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Engage in SMED, Kaizen events, and 5 Whys to problem-solve and eliminate waste.
  • Troubleshoot and report equipment abnormalities promptly.
  • Champion safety—speak up, prevent risk, and protect teammates, contractors, customers, and property.

Who succeeds here

A disciplined, creative operator with strong mechanical aptitude who can read blueprints and consistently hold tight tolerances.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CNC maintenance mechanic experience.
  • Proficiency with CNC tooling, CNC programming, G-code, M-code, and setup/changeover.
  • Comfort operating CNC Mills (3–4 axis VMC) and CNC Lathes (2–4 axis).

Shifts, pay, and bonus

  • Location: Alsip, IL
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am (includes $1.35/hr shift differential)
  • Pay Range: $23.89–$31.24 per hour
  • Sign-On Bonus: $2,000.00 (Payment details at time of offer)
