What you’ll own
Set up, load, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multitasking CNC equipment
Simultaneously monitor multiple machines to sustain throughput
Load, adjust, and fine-tune programs to maintain quality and cycle targets
Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm tolerances
Perform in-process quality checks against blueprint specifications
Troubleshoot minor machine concerns and escalate major issues to maintenance or supervisors
Maintain coolant levels, track tooling wear, and keep machines and work area clean
Manage material loading/unloading and transfer parts efficiently between machines
Comply with safety procedures and company quality standards
Document production runs, inspection results, and any deviations
Who succeeds here
Experienced CNC Operators or Machinists (preferred)
Pros who read blueprints/technical drawings with ease
Inspectors-at-heart familiar with measurement tools and inspection techniques
Those with a basic grasp of G-code or CNC controls (preferred; not required depending on level)
