Precision CNC Programmer–Operator (GD&T, VMC/HMC)

What you’ll do
- Own full setups and production operation of CNC machines
- Choose, install, and adjust tooling and workholding to meet feature and material demands
- Read and apply blueprints, engineering drawings, layouts, and GD&T
- Develop machining sequences and define the manufacturing process from stock to finished component
- Inspect and verify part dimensions before and during runs; hold spec throughout
- Execute offsets, tool changes, and parameter tweaks to stabilize processes
- Diagnose and resolve setup and machining issues to protect quality and throughput
- Keep your area organized; follow all safety and quality protocols
What makes you a fit
- At least 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Strong command of machining practices, tooling strategy, feeds, and speeds
- Fluent in print reading and practical GD&T application
- Comfortable setting up jobs independently with minimal oversight
- Skilled with standard inspection equipment for in‑process checks
- Mechanical aptitude and strong, pragmatic problem solving
Nice to have
- Experience with Mazak, Okuma, and Hurco controls
- Background with 3‑ to 4‑axis VMCs (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Hurco) and 5‑axis VMCs
- Familiarity with HMCs (3–4 axis), including Makino
