    Precision CNC Turning Specialist

    Love bringing prints to life on Mazak/Haas lathes? At Blast Cleaning Technologies (BCT), the shot blast innovation leader, you’ll program, set up, and produce precision parts from start to finish.

    Extra pay: $4.00 shift premium.

    Is this you?

    • Can you read and write G- and M-code with confidence?
    • Do you build efficient programs in Mastercam (or similar CAD/CAM) and fine‑tune them at the machine?
    • Are you skilled at designing fixturing, setting up tools, and running parts complete to print?
    • Do you verify every critical dimension before sending parts to inspection?

    What you will do

    • Program via Mastercam or longhand; calculate feeds/speeds and optimal toolpaths.
    • Mount, align, and secure tools, fixtures, and workpieces; set offsets and prove out processes.
    • Run first articles; measure with gauges and precision instruments; adjust for perfect conformance.
    • Change tools, refine parameters, and stop machines when sequences or tooling need updates.
    • Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in top shape.
    • Support production runs with robust setups and documentation.
    • Model and reinforce BCT’s culture and core values on the floor.

    Responsibilities can expand as business needs evolve.

    What you need to bring

    • High school diploma (or equivalent).
    • 4+ years programming with Mastercam or longhand G/M code.
    • 4+ years setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills.
    • Manufacturing experience; foundry exposure a plus.
    • Ability to lay out features from engineering drawings.
    • Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented; strong computer comfort.

    Tech you’ll touch

    • CNC Lathes (2–4 axis): Mazak, Haas; plus 5‑axis turning.
    • CNC Mills (3–4 axis VMC, Fanuc) and 5‑axis VMC (Fanuc).
    • Mastercam for CAM; precision inspection and gauging.

    Core capabilities

    • CNC tooling selection and changeover; production setups.
    • G-Code/M-Code; manual machining fundamentals.
    • Equipment troubleshooting and process improvement.
    • Tape measure reading; advanced inspection and gauging.
