Reporting to the Shop Manager, you set the standard for edge breaks and surface finishes on high‑tolerance parts used in Aerospace, Defense, and Medical applications. Your craftsmanship ensures every component meets specification—every time.
What You'll Do
Set up and run small lathes, speed lathes, drill presses, and mills to deburr parts per supplied work instructions.
Apply expert hand‑deburring techniques using a variety of handheld tools.
Operate buffing wheels and manage related finishing processes to achieve final surface quality.
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine edge‑break and finish requirements.
Use precision measuring instruments and gages to verify dimensions and confirm conformance.
Perform in‑process and final finishing, contributing to smooth production flow and on‑time delivery.
What You Bring
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant deburring/polishing experience.
Proficiency in deburring, blueprint reading, and precision measuring.
Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and repeatability.
Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to cross‑train in machine operation.
