From first spark to final inspection, you’ll turn drawings into durable, accurate assemblies while keeping safety and efficiency front and center.
- Build and fit metal structures and equipment using a range of welding processes.
- Translate blueprints, prints, and schematics into precise setups and high‑quality welds.
- Weld confidently in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Verify your own work with thorough quality checks to ensure every weld meets spec.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete work accurately.
- Coordinate with teammates to sequence tasks and hit deadlines.
- Perform basic maintenance and routine inspections on welding gear to keep everything running smoothly.
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on welding and fabrication experience, including FCAW (flux‑cored) and Stick (SMAW) techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics with confidence.
- Strong troubleshooting approach for tackling fit-up, distortion, and process issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, high-quality results.
- Thrives working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
