About Us

With backlog and new business we need to add some talent to our shop. We were founded in 1918 as Young & Franklin Tool Works on Franklin Street in Syracuse, but we've come a long way since then and have over 150 employees on-site. Our product lines are low volume, high mix, and very tight tolerances. We manufacture, assemble and test valves and actuators for the Aerospace and Power Generation markets. Our 120,000 square foot facility houses R&D, Design Engineering, Assembly & Test, and an 80,000 square foot Machine Shop, including 2 dozen CNC machines of all different capabilities, a full manual machine shop, and precision grind, hone and deburr. We regularly invest in new machines but outdid ourselves in the last 18 months with 5 new machines!

REQUIRES: random drug and alcohol testing throughout the year. The drug test screens for: Marijuana, Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine and semi-synthetic opioids: hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone.
