Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Precision Grinder to join a growing manufacturing team in Owasso, OK on 1st shift. This role focuses on the precision grinding, finishing, and inspection of thermal spray-coated components to exact specifications and tight tolerances.

Required Experience & Skills
Previous grinding experience REQUIRED(thermal spray / HVOF experience strongly preferred)
Ability to operate manual and/or CNC grinding equipment
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and profilometers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
Strong attention to detail and commitment to dimensional accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet production deadlines
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate manual or CNC grinding machines to finish coated parts to exact tolerances and required surface finishes
Set up grinding equipment, tooling, fixtures, and abrasives based on part specifications
Work with coatings such as tungsten carbide, chromium carbide, and other thermal spray materials
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify compliance
Monitor grinding operations and make adjustments to maintain part quality and productivity
Perform basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance
Collaborate with thermal spray and quality control teams to ensure coating integrity and dimensional accuracy
Complete production logs, inspection reports, and required documentation accurately
Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
Work Environment
Precision manufacturing environment
Exposure to machinery, industrial noise, and coated materials
Physically active role requiring standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and repetitive motion
Overtime or extended shifts may be required depending on production needs
