We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Hand Finishing Technician to join our manufacturing team.
This position involves hand-finishing precision machined aerospace and defense components to exact specifications. The work requires patience, consistency, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a strong attention to detail.
No aerospace deburring experience? We may be willing to train the right candidate.

What You'll Do
- Perform precision deburring and edge-breaking operations on machined components
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections to specification requirements
- Follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures
- Inspect parts visually and dimensionally to verify compliance with quality standards
- Use hand tools, abrasives, microscopes, and other precision finishing equipment
- Maintain consistency and quality across production batches
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Communicate production and quality concerns with supervisors and team members
Ideal Backgrounds
We welcome candidates with experience in:
- Precision deburring
- Hand polishing
- Metal finishing
- Precision assembly
- Quality inspection
- Dental laboratory work
- Jewelry repair or finishing
- Watch or instrument repair
- Other detail-oriented manufacturing or hand-finishing work
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of manufacturing, finishing, polishing, assembly, inspection, or related experience
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience using hand tools and working with small precision components
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistent quality
- Experience reading technical drawings is a plus
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident)
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
