Picture your morning: a new aerospace assembly rolls off the line. You pick up the articulated arm CMM, verify critical GD&T callouts against the drawing, and capture precise measurements. After a tensile/compression test on a coupon, you document the results, flag a nonconformance, and collaborate with production to correct it. By afternoon, you’ve compiled a first-article package and prepped PPAP documentation for the customer—all while coaching operators on in-process checks.

What you'll do

  • Measure parts and assemblies using calipers, micrometers, CMM, articulated arm CMM, and attribute gages
  • Run routine tensile/compression tests
  • Record inspection and test outcomes with clarity and completeness
  • Document nonconformances for material review board disposition
  • Assemble first article and PPAP documentation packages
  • Communicate inspection results to production and partner on corrective actions
  • Perform in-process inspections as needed
  • Help train production personnel on in-process inspection methods

What you bring

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T
  • Hands-on experience with metrology tools, including CMMs and articulated arms
  • Background in composite manufacturing preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred
  • Formal CMM or articulated arm training preferred
  • Associate degree, or high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience

Shifts: We’re hiring for 1st and 2nd shift.
